PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

 ACF - Midlands

Our 20th annual President's Awards and Dinner was held on January 29th at Embassy Suites and a good time was had by all. Congratulations to all the award winners and to everyone who gave their support and service to the ACF Midlands throughout 2011. A very big thanks goes to Chef Richard Snidar with Embassy Suites Hotel for providing another excellent dinner and service. I personally want to thank all the members for supporting the board throughout the year.

We already have a full schedule of events coming up in 2012; first off and most importantly is the great work we do in our community with the Chef and Child Program. The upcoming event on Feb. 22nd at Congaree Elementary is a great event that I encourage all members to participate in. Interacting with the kids is tremendous fun and you can really see that they are enjoying the chefs and what they are learning. Contact Chef Drew at Drew.Morgan@Sodexo.com for more information and to volunteer.

Take a look at the Calendar on this page for more events coming up in 2012.

As I spoke about at the President's Dinner, this is an election year and it is crucial to the success of the chapter that we have quality leadership in place to continue to help the chapter and it's members grow. It's never to early to think about who YOU want to lead YOUR chapter.

Congratulations to 2011 Award Winners
